Well I’m glad to be back online with the college version of the Definitive Dmbosstone (much like the High School Version.) I am loving Fitchburg State College! I love college life! I am already making myself at home here at the’ burg: I have met tons of cool new people, joined several organizations, and partied like there was no tomorrow!
I am enrolled in the Leadership Academy (this is the leadership college), so I get to take all these nice honors courses in addition to my communications courses. In exchange I don’t have to pay tuition or fees. I think it’s not that bad.. except for that damn Changing Worlds class.. I am living here at Russell Towers, (aka the Ghetto’s ghetto.) I’m stuck in a triple room, but my roomies are cool. Phil and Sean are awesome guys, Phil’s a film major from Worcester, and Sean is a business major from Randolph.
I’m going to try out the theatre here at FSC, I joined the local group called the Falcon Players. I am currently their SGA representative and I hope to help produce their production of Waiting For Lefty this December.
I am also trying my hand with Student Government. I was elected to the 2006 Board of the FSC Student Government Association. It’s really cool so far, all the people are great and the meetings are tons of fun. I am also joining Mu Epsilon, the Communications Honor Society. I met Ben, the current president, at a party and he is a great guy.
Well now that we are all caught up on college, let’s see what’s been happening. Today I walked for Diabetes with Lisa, Vatche, Adam, Ashely, and Jay (who has ill style). It was supposed to be an extensive SGA project but the turnout kinda sucked. It was fun though, Outback Steakhouse catered lunch, and it was good! I’m looking forward to seeing my Chelmsford pals back home when I come back for Columbus Day (I think my parents aren’t going to be there, do I smell party?) I’m not exactly sure what’s going on next week. But for now I’m going to concentrate on getting the rest of this site updated….
