I hate losing time. I just lost an hour of sleep. I miss that hour. Well Darryl Hammond on Sunday was awesome as expected. “We are fighting a war on terrr-!” All this week it’s been all about the inauguration. On Wednesday I went to the 4th Annual Leadership Conference at the school. I got to see Sarah Weddington speak- she’s a good orator. Thursday I dropped by the President’s office- he was holding an open party and I saw a lot of well-wishers there. On Friday I attended the inauguration as a student ambassador. It was a really great ceremony- and the food was awesome! Foundations of chocolate was a real awesome touch. That night I went with Gabi to the Inaugural Ball; we danced the night away, a real god time I haven’t had in a long time. Yesterday I gave a bunch of tours for the President’s Reception for accepted students. I also saw the Dance show, it was pretty cool. Afterwards me and the boys drank it up. We spent the whole night sneaking around the towers- it was cool. Kinda. Later Wendi and her friend Nikki stopped by and spent the rest of the night with me. Altogether an eventful weekend- too bad it’s now back to the bleak reality of school life. I have so much to do now- so little time to do it.
