Well here I am in lovely Ithaca College, ready to start teaching at NYSSSA Media Arts. Yes, on the 4th of July. This week I spent most of my time finishing up the web design project I was working on for Lockheed Martin. I’m so glad it’s over with. To celebrate Mike and I went out to Hooligan’s on Thursday and we made yet another trip to the garage. Friday I had my last night with the crew- we all went to the Comedy Connection in Saugus to see Frank Santos, R-Rated Hypnotist. It was a small crowd but an awesome act. I met him and he said we could come back anytime this month for free. Saturday my family drove me to NY. It was a relatively smooth ride- lots of hills, farms, trees, and cows. We stopped for gas in some rural town and they were selling a 12-pack of beer for $4.00. What!?!? My room here at Ithaca is so awesome. I’m living with AC, a private bathroom, two twin beds, and linen service. The people here are really nice. Phil is chill as usual, and Bob Harris in the summer is just classic. The other teacher staff are all really cool people. The surroundings are very “quaint”. They have a Walmart and a Wegman’s, but on the most side it’s very village/small town america. Out my window I can see Cornell in the distance, it reminds me of that kingdom in LOTR. Well I should get to bed- I can’t wait to spend the summer NYSSSA style!
