Jet Blue

I flew on Jet Blue tonight; it’s a small airline that provided the service I needed from Dulles to Logan (and for only $69!) My mom told me it was a good experience so I decided to use them when I was booking this flight. I’m flying back to Massachusetts to see Guster in Concert at FSC. By the time you’ll read this I’ll already be there- this is a surprise visit and no one knows I’m coming- I wonder what the reaction is going to be. But back to Jet Blue, besides a long delay (my mom told me they have them a lot- I hope that’s not true), I really enjoyed the experience. The seats have lots of legroom and there isn’t any first class or coach- it’s all one cabin. Finally a system where everyone is equal! It’s like the communist’s airline dream! Jet Blue had other cool features on the flight. Each seat had its own TV screen with both Direct TV & XM Radio. I think this was the best idea ever thought up for an airline. In a business sense it’s a great way to introduce consumers to the technologies- to everyone else it’s a great way to eat up time during the flight. I loved surfing the 100 channels of XM Radio and I loved that I could watch the Red Sox game while in flight.
All in all Jet Blue has really carved a niche into the airline biz by using unique features such as the great in-flight entertainment. But Jet Blue is also using grass roots approaches such as the traveling story booth to generate buzz and collect positive stories. Jet Blue has impressed me and I’m sure it’s going to impress you.
