Life And Death

So today I went to services for my Grandfather at Dolan’s Funeral Home, it is owned by a former teacher at my middle school. When I asked the staff if he was around I was informed he was away because he had to attend a funeral in his family, ironic don’t you think? Well the buddhist services went as they should have, but I wanted to take away with this: My Grandfather had eight kids, sixteen grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. It was the first time in a long time that the ENTIRE family was in one place. It was very conforting to be with them all at once and to catch up with some many of them. Some of the most entertaining moments was seeing the many babies and toddlers that my cousins had. It was a weird end of life / start of life imagery that popped in my mind today.

I found out I have to read a eulogy for my Grandfather at the funeral tomorrow. I recieved a biography of my Grandfather and there was so much about him that I didn’t know.
