Ok need to blog about my birthday party:
I originally had scheduled a half day so I could have plenty of time to relax and prepare for a night of mayhem. Of course that didn’t really work out well- in fact I didn’t get out of the office until an hour before the party started.
Things didn’t get better when I was trying to get ready to get out. I don’t know what I did I was taking a shower and I threw out my back or something. This shooting pain just totally took over my spine and I got really annoyed on the timing of this injury. Maybe it’s a sign I’m just getting older. Aw man I’m not even having the quarter life crisis yet and my body is already falling apart.
Things went a lot better when I arrived at Saloun in Georgetown. Krissy and Mark were there and of course it was only 9 PM so we didn’t expect anyone until after 10. Ryan picked out the place and it was a really nice jazz bar that we pretty much had to ourselves. It’s a place I would totally consider coming back to if I’m in Georgetown.
I was afraid that not a lot of my friends would come out last night but I was excited to see all my favorites show up. I was especially excited to see Falkor and the crew show up later into the night. I love those guys so much.
After some good times at Saloun Ryan and I moved our crowds to meet up with Krissy at Mie and Yu. Again I’m glad to see everyone have a good time and I’m really thankful to have such wonderful friends.
The birthday weekend isn’t over yet. Tonight I’m going out after yet another Wizards game and tomorrow I’m going to watch the Pats game and cap off the weekend with Ryan and Krissy at the Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert.
