Originally I was going to just going to go to the Celtics/Wizards game last night but I also ended up going to the UConn/Georgetown game as well- turning yesterday into a day of Basketball at the Verizon Center. The Georgetown game was actually a really exciting game, with Roy Hibbert winning the game in the last seconds. Compared to the UNC game I went to earlier last month- Georgetown had just as much students and alumni present. It was a sea of Grey and Blue. There were definitely more student section seats for Georgetown- they were going crazy for all 40 minutes.
After the Georgetown game, I walked around Chinatown for a bit before meeting up with Wendi for dinner and game two of my basketball double header. We hit up Wok and Roll- what else am I eating in Chinatown?
The Celtics game was exciting- a battle to the end, even though the Wizards won. The most exciting moment I think Wendi and I had was when I reprogrammed the suite’s HDTV to show the Patriots game. So we were cheering for the Celtics in the Verizon Center while watching the Patriots at the same time. It was a Boston sports orgy.
Ok I gotta go be lazy now- I just finished an awesome steak for dinner. It’s no Hot Pocket but I’m still moving slow.
