Things haven’t really been quiet recently, even after the holidays the good times still roll on.
One day after I say goodbye to Kim I get a phone call from Patrick:
Patrick: Hey Dude can I crash your place?
Me: Sure thing. Where are you?
Patrick: I’m in New York but I’m about to get on a bus and head to DC.
Me: Cool- you think you’ll get here by 7? I have tickets to a Wizards game…
Am I surprised that my good friend Patrick is making an unannounced visit? Not really.
He arrived just in time to catch the last few minutes of the Pistons/Wizards game. Afterwards we met up with Carolyn at Bailey’s to catch the last half of the Fiesta Bowl. WVU totally whooped Oklahoma’s ass with some ridiculous touchdown runs- a real exciting game to watch.
Wednesday Patrick and I paid Rebecca a visit. The visit came complete with Adam, Camille, and Sara. We watched Extras- a very funny show.
This weekend was pretty entertaining. I met up with Rebecca, Adam, and Camille at Rumors last night and watched Pittsburgh lose to the Jaguars. Today I had lunch with my awesome Aunt Jackie- it’s always good to catch up with family. We ate at Maggiano’s- and I have to say it’s by above and beyond anything Olive Garden could do- but then again did anyone really think Olive Garden is that great?
After lunch- Cleveland Street had another open house, always fun to grill perspective roommates. Luckily we found a wonderful new roommate who happens to work two floors above me. Small world right?
Ok time to watch Chris Rock: Never Scared on Comedy Central- that guy is funny!
