It was another week of Verizon Center fun. Tuesday Adam and I got to sit up close for the Knicks/Wizards game, Jim Vance was in the same row we were sitting- which may explain how we lost in overtime (I hear every time he shows up the Wizards lose.)
Thursday I was back to see the Spice Girls… yes… those Spice Girls… I have to say that they all cleaned up really nice after a few years off. The arena was full of union jack dresses, leopard print outfits, and little baby doll dreses (without the baby.) Of course every one there was a female under the age of 18- Corey and I were playing the over/under game to see if anyone in attendance wasn’t a teeny bopper. So why the hell did I go? It was free, I remembered their music from the old days, and hell- they are still hot. The show itself was an elaborate production of costume changes, male dancing, and even some confetti. I think Victoria Beckham made the right career move with fashion and not singing. I don’t think she was terribly good.
Last night I got the entire suite for the Bobcats/Wizards game so I brought in all my roommates and friends and I had a lot of fun just pimpin’ the suite.
Well it’s time for Oscar- let’s hope Jon Stewart does a good job and I win big in the pool!
