It’s like Mash-ups on steroids.
Gregg Gillis is a Pittsburgh DJ that goes by the name Girl Talk, he creates music by mixing up samples of other songs; creating a stew of musical delight.
My co-worker Ryan introduced me to him when he came out with the “Night Ripper.” I couldn’t put it down after hearing it.
Now Girl Talk is back with a brand new album called Feed The Animals that’s even better than before (I haven’t put it down since I downloaded it.) What’s even better about this one is that he mashes up hits from the 70′s, 80′s, 90′s, and today (Outkast with Spencer Davis Group sounds sooo good.)
I encourage everyone to check out this album as well as Night Ripper- the great thing is that Girl Talk is allowing downloads of Feed The Animals for whatever you want to pay ($free.99 anyone?)
You can download the album here.
