Fantasy Football: Flip That Cowboy

Cowboys Williams Football90-90

That was the at the end of Week 6 in my Yahoo! league. First time I tied- but at least it’s not a loss. The tie coupled with other losses around the league catapulted me to 1st place in the league- but I’m sure that won’t last for long.

I kicked ass in my Diet Yahoo! League but I got my ass handed to me in my TMG Sportsline League. I sat Thomas Jones who decided to score three TDs. Man I could of used those TDs.

Now I got a different problem. Thanks to Tony Romo’s broken pinkie I now have to find a new QB in two of my leagues. In my Sportsline league I was able to pull a trade using another Cowboy- the newly traded Roy Williams. In exchange for Williams I got Brett Favre- a suitable guy for the time being, at least he’s better than Jeff Garcia. In another league I saw Kyle Orton sitting on the waiver wire- and quickly snatched him up. Now I should be alright while Romo decides whether or not he wants to play.

Now let’s see how Week 7 is going to shape up:

TMG Sportsline League (4-2)

Pho Sho vs. Redneck Phantoms

This game doesn’t look great for me. The loss of Romo along with bye weeks for Anquan Boldin and Roddy White has left me with a lot of holes to patch.

Yahoo! League (4-0-1)

Pho Shizzle vs. No Kevin Here

This might be a win for me if I can play the right squad. Key pickup for me this week was Dominic Rhodes and Mewelde Moore- two guys that are now starting.

Diet Yahoo! League (5-1)

Donte’s $37 Million vs. Glad Taylors Here

This is also shaping up to be a tough matchup- lots of trash talk being said my way so I’m especially interesting in showing who’s who in this game.

Once again I’ll be working through most of the football- I can’t wait til I get a weekend to myself.
