Fantasy Football isn’t the only game I play during football season.
I also take part in a Pick’em pool with some 50+ people. Every week we all make picks and the winner every week gets some cash as well as the top three at the end of the season. Last year I won a week but so far I’m doing terrible at 30th place.

This is the first week I’m plugging in Matt Forte- he’s been playing well and has a great matchup this week. I’m very nervous about my receivers. I made some great pickups off the wire- taking a chance on Roy Williams and Bobby Engram.

I feel ok with this matchup but not very confident, once again plugging in Williams and also taking a chance on Mewelde Moore since Thomas Jones is on bye. I have no RB depth on this team.

I have yet to plug in a kicker for the week but I am pretty much chalking up a loss this week. The other team is just stacked and I’m playing Philip Rivers at QB. Maybe he’ll score me a few TDs. I’m psyched however to get Wes Welker off the wire during his bye week. Thanks to bye weeks I’m also plugging in unknown TE Visanthe Shiancoe.
It might be a shaky week for me in Fantasy Football but I’ll be rooting for something bigger- my Patriots!
