I would highly suggest placing Wall-E in your list for Best Picture. There's was a mounting campaign to include the animated pic in the nomination for Best Picture this year. The movie was fantastic, a visual spectacle, had subtle messages of consumerism/environmentalism, and several newspaper movie critics have already named it their Number 1 film of the year. Both Meryl Streep and Frank Langella are probably front runners in their respective category. Both were amazing and of lately, the acting awards have gone differently than the Best Picture prize. Meryl Streep plays a nun who suspects a priest of pedophilia in Doubt and Frank Langella plays Richard Nixon in his infamous interview with David Frost in Frost/Nixon. I plan on seeing Revolutionary Road this weekend so I might very well change my mind with Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio, but as of now, those two are hard to beat. Brad Pitt is probably a top contender as well. Finally, I will take the final leap and predict The Curious Case of Benjamin Button to not only be nominated, but probably win Best Picture since it had a combined presence in acting, cinematography, writing, music, and directing. If not Benjamin, either Frost/Nixon or The Dark Knight. Here's my list prediction:

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
Frost/Nixon
Revolutionary Road (from what I read, it's good)
The Dark Knight
Wall-E (wishful thinking?)

the dark horse...Doubt (probably more of an acting movie than worthy of a Best Picture nod)
