So this past week I was surfing through applications for my iPod touch when I came across an application developed by Apple called Remote. It’s amazing, it lets you remotely control one’s iTunes over the air. You can link it to your personal iTunes library and control your iTunes all around the house. If you are at a party you can hop on your friend’s network and access his iTunes. Check out his playlist and request a certain song. The request is then beamed over to his iTunes.
Imagine the geekdom of an iTunes party where all the guests had iPods/iPhones. They would be voting and requesting songs all night long!
I already think the application is pretty neat- and I can’t wait to show off to my roommates as I change songs from downstairs. I kinda wanna throw a party just so my friends can bring their iPhones over and request songs.
