Buffalo Has A Bromance On T.O.

Thanks to my pal Frank for sharing this Deadspin post with me.

Now I know Buffalo is a small sports market, but I didn’t expect them to go this gaga over T.O. in his first practice with the team. They gave him the key to the city- that’s right THE KEY TO THE CITY. Just for participating in his first organized team activity.

He hasn’t played in a single game yet, it’s kinda like he’s getting a big gold star for attendance- but with T.O. showing up to the practice is worthy of praise.

So how did I learn that Terrell Owens got a key to the city? I heard it on WKBW-TV which apparently loves T.O. so much that they’ll just let him anchor the reports on him.

    i was SO SCARED the giants were going to pick up T.O. after the plaxico debacle. thank jeebus some other team was suckered into taking him. buffalo, enjoy the one year you get out of him before he rips apart your team from the inside!
