I took a week off of Metblogs for the beach but I forgot to let y’all know what I had laying around before my trip:

• If you live in Virginia, do you care about the Gubenatorial race? I did for a quick minute, but now I don’t know if I’m really that interested anymore…
• I always enjoy it when fighter jets fly all over my city.
• Disney is building a new resort in Washington DC, don’t worry there won’t be another Cinderella Castle (we already got one of those off the beltway)
• Isn’t it cool when a burrito place gives away free Pop-Tarts?
• My blog buddy Rachel talks about our time at the WGA reception.
• I saw The Great American Trailer Park Musical over at Kensington Arts and it was amazing.
• Obama loves Five Guys, what’s next- Silver Diner?
