Developing A Crackberry Addiction

blackberry-8330-curve-verizon-wirelessThanks to an IT switchover at work, I had to give up my Zack Morris-like smart phone for a Blackberry. This past weekend I picked up a Blackberry Curve and so far it’s been ok. Along with my previous experience with the Treo, I’ve now completed my handheld trifecta.

Now I know some people are big fans of the “Crackberry” and I can see why: it’s small and lightweight; a plethora of different apps that adds functionality besides e-mail checking; and the phone appears to perform better than the muffled calls I’d get with my previous phone.

While I wasn’t happy with the way it handled my inbox and contacts at first, I do like how it supports HTML messages unlike my previous device.

I don’t know if I’m “addicted” yet but I may get there- I’ve already decided that when I renew my plan later next year I may opt for a Blackberry again.

Anybody else have a Blackberry? What are some good apps for it? Also it appears that everybody is trading pin numbers for Blackberry Messenger.
