I’m with Maxie… whatever I’m feeling, that’s what ends up on the page, simple as that. The one thing I have to remind myself of is that not everything needs to be entertaining… if I have someone to say just because it’s important to me, that’s okay too.

i think some of the best blogs are those that are more than just “this is what i did and here’s what i ate.” unfortunately… mine is pretty much just that. but it works for me – like malnurtured snay, i appreciate having a record of my life that i can go back and check up on. also i hate confrontation so writing controversial posts about “real” topics would never fly for me

I agree with all the above statements. Just go with what you know. However, I am intrigued by this “blog mission statement.” Maybe that would help me focus my energy. Whatever you go with, remember it is YOUR writing and even though it is read by others, it is still yours. Keep it up bro!

I actually have no idea what my blog is. There’s no theme. Actually, I guess there is: it’s just conversation. And sometimes I’ll talk about politics, or tell jokes, or recommend music… It’s just conversation. Holy snarkies, Batman: I think I just found my mission statement.

But right, for you: I like the new layout. But content-wise… find the posts you’re most proud of and repeat what made them special.

Thanks for the compliment– at least I’ve got my shit together when it comes to blogging. I promise you that’s the only aspect of my life that’s on track.
