Metblogs Round-Up: 7-26-09

Fresh from a game at Nationals Park, I’m feeling good about the Nats walk-off win over the Padres today- mind you I’m only feeling good until the Nats play their next game and they lose. Oh well I got some DC pride for a day or two, here’s the latest from Metblogs:

  • It looks like the recession is hitting everyone on the block as I found out that The Arlington Drafthouse has filed for bankruptcy. I hope they get their affairs in order quick- and that they continue to stick around.
  • Screen on the Green continues tomorrow, after it kicked off last week. I think this is the summer I try and make it out there for the HBO dancing and the bugs.
  • The latest video to get stuck in my head: Auto Tune the News.
  • You know what I’m realizing about California Tortilla? They have some pretty cool promos every once in awhile.
  • Adam and I got to go to a screening of In The Loop, which is showing over at the E-Street Cinema, it’s a must see satire for anyone that appreciates how the government works doesn’t work.
  • Talking about summer traditions, tomorrow DC Restaurant Week info comes out- get ready to reserve and dine!
