The Single Life: All The Single Ladies Put Your Hand Up

20-34-adjI should of put a ring on it. I mean if I liked it I should.

Because believe it or not there’s not a whole lot of single ladies out there.

Despite what was discussed between my blogger pals last Thursday, where we talked about the glut of single ladies compared to single males (a common theory), I found a map project a while ago that proves that I maybe looking for love in all the wrong places.

Jonathan Soma made a geographic map of singles that you can interact with to find out how many single woman/man ratio there is in a given city. After adjusting the graph it looks like us guys outnumber single women 27 to 1.

I don’t like those odds.

Mind you Soma does point out that there’s some issues with the map including how it counts homosexuals couples as single since they are not married, but none the less I’ll remain pretty negative on my chances of ever finding a date again.

Now that I know I have to fight 20 guys for a girl, I’m going to go and wonder why I’m undatable again.
