Last weekend was relatively quiet (except for Friday night), so I was able to pick up the remote and see what was on ESPN. For most of the weekend the network aired coverage of the World Cup of Softball. It wasn’t Red Sox baseball but I kept it on as I munched on my usual weekend fare of Peruvian chicken. After tuning into the games a few times this past weekend I have come to realize one thing: the women of Team USA are hot.
I saw Jennie Finch in the circle, probably one of the most recognizable faces in Softball, and she looked just as gorgeous as she did in her appearance on The Celebrity Appretnice. She can pitch, hit, and look good while doing it all. She was even voted hotter than Anna Kournikova! Also in the Team USA rotation is Cat Osterman, and at 6’2″ she’s a towering figure when striking out the opposition, but she’s also pretty easy on the eyes in my opinion. You have to watch out though, when she’s in the circle she’s gotta scowl that’s rivals Jonathan Papelbon. I would not enjoy facing off against her.

So I have to congratulate the lovely ladies of Team USA as they defeated Australia last night to win the World Cup. Because these ladies are more than beautiful women of course, they are really talented athletes a that have continued to show that nobody matches up to the United States when it comes to Softball.
