I can’t believe August is halfway over. I felt like it wasn’t that long ago that my summer was starting with my annual OBX trip. I already had a rough idea what I wanted to do this summer but life got in the way and changed my plans. Now I’m already stage managing Rocky Horror Show over at KAT which will kick off a three show run of shows til February. Football is around the corner as my hopes for the Sox goes down the drain.
There’s still some summer left but Fall is already on the horizon.
I have to say I had quite the adventurous summer and I had lots of fun, however I’m really struggling to keep up with everything I need to do. The balance between work and my personal life is testing my abilities to be successful and productive.
My to-do list is growing and I feel like I need a stay-cation (uh oh looks like a pattern) just to get it all done:
- Clean the house and find a new roommate (Sarah is moving out in September, very sad)
- Finish prep work for Rocky Horror: I got scripts to analyze and contact sheets to create…
- Google Reader? 759 items. iTunes? 6 new podcasts. Men’s Health? I got 4-5 issues gathering dust.
- I enjoy watching The Unit, but I think I give up on trying to catch up.
- Prepare for my two fantasy football drafts.
- I have 3-4 post ideas for New Persuasion and 2 post ideas for 4 Sport Boston.
- Edit OBX Season 3 (maybe I can get it done before the Christmas… maybe…
- I haven’t been to the gym regularly and I’m already feeling it.
So August is pretty much done in terms of me having a life however September is shaping up well with that trip to Pittsburgh in the works and a DMB concert in Scranton.
Til then I hope to get my life back in shape, and my body too while I’m at it.

Oh my god, I know exactly what you mean, I was like… Are you for serious, its almost over?? The only things I have left to look forward two are the Labor Day Cook Out Of Doom with my family, and a night of getting so drunk I propose marriage to a palm tree… What happened to the days when I had endless humid days to thwart sand crabs and drink hot beer on the beach??? Where does the time go?!

I know exactly how you feel!! I wrote (and blogged) a to-do list at the beginning of the summer and I still haven’t done any of the things I wanted to do. I can’t believe I’m going back to college soon
