Last Saturday Adam and I went downtown to try and catch the free screening of the Oscar nominated shorts at the National Achives. However thanks to a slow metro train we arrived and found out the screening was sold out. Our backup plan was to walk over to the Verizon Center and catch the Georgetown game. However when we walked up to buy tickets Adam found out he could only buy one ticket with his student ID and that public tickets were terribly expensive.
So what does Adam do? He puts up the hood of his sweat shirt and walk back up to the window- five minutes after he buying his ticket. It looks like the lady at the box office wasn’t paying attention because Adam returned with another ticket and we went to the game.
Good to know the Verizon Center has a crack staff working those ticket windows.
