I don’t know if I took on the new show before or after I accepted my new job- either way it’s coming together and taking up a lot of my life.

I learned the hard way to say no – I burnt out on energy and money. I used to go out 3-4 nights a week, but now I go out no more than twice, and once a weekend. The key is to remember your priorities and what makes you happy. Sure, at the time managing another show is good experience and helping out a friend, but in the end, it may affect your new day job.
