Patrick has been blogging before it was called blogging. At the age of 15 Patrick started his first website and over 10 years later he’s still writing. A social media aficionado, he writes about his adventures as a young professional in The Nation’s Capital, and how technology and other forces are changing the world for Generation-Y.  Patrick’s stories, rants, and opinions have been featured in The Washington City PaperThe Washington Express, CNN, Newschannel 8 Washington, and NBC Washington. Patrick also writes for We Love DC where he covers the Washington Wizards and local theatre.

Social Media Flack/Video Producer

Patrick is a Senior Online Analyst at New Media Strategies where he helps clients tell their story in the Social Media space. With his background in communications, social media, and video production, Patrick finds ways to tell a story beyond the printed word.

His videos have been featured on websites and blogs including I Got Shotgun, the GM Fastlane Blog, RamZone, and RedLine Dodge, and the official blog for Jeep. Clients Patrick has worked with include General Motors, 3M, Newmont, Chrysler, Stride Rite, NIVEA, the Bowl Championship Series, and the NFLPA.  In 2007 he worked on Chevrolet’s Super Bowl College Ad Challenge campaign, which resulted in one of the first consumer-inspired Super Bowl Ads.

Originally from the Boston area, Patrick gained extensive video production experience working at Avid Technology, the leader in film and video post production, as well as local community television stations. He is an alumni of Fitchburg State University with a degree in Communications Media.
