About
Elevator PitchThe Definitive Dmbosstone is a place where I write about my life as a member of Generation-Y and how my world (as well as the rest of the world) is changing in a social media world. I tell stories, ask questions, and occasionally answer them. Blogger BioPatrick has been blogging before it was called blogging. At the age of 15 Patrick started The Definitive Dmbosstone and 10 years later he’s still writing and is excited that it’s now kinda cool (unfortunately he’s still kind of a geek.) A social media aficionado, he writes about his many adventures living in The Nation’s capital, and how technology and other forces are changing the world for Generation-Y. Patrick’s stories, rants, and opinions have been featured on The Washington City Paper and The Washington Express. In 2009 he was nominated blogger of the year by Brazen Careerist. Patrick was an extensive local blogger as City Captain for DC Metblogs and is now an author for We Love DC. Patrick is also a contributor to sports websites 4 Sport Boston and GoGameFace. Professional BioPatrick is an Online Analyst at New Media Strategies where he works with clients in the Social Media space. His background in social media, video production, and automotive space serves him well in his current role working with Chrysler. Previously at TMG Strategies Patrick worked on media monitoring, production, and outreach on behalf of Fortune 500 clients which include General Motors, Newmont, and 3M. His videos have been featured on client websites and blogs including I Got Shotgun and the GM Fastlane Blog. In 2007 he worked on Chevrolet’s Super Bowl College Ad Challenge campaign, which resulted in one of the first consumer-inspired Super Bowl Ads. Originally from the Boston area, Patrick has gained extensive experience working with local community television stations and Avid Technology, the leader in film and video post production. He graduated from Fitchburg State College with a degree in Communications Media. Theatre BioPatrick originally worked on the stage as a Producer, producing over 10 musicals and plays for high school, college, and community theatre. Upon moving to the Washington, DC area Patrick started work as a Stage Manager and has managed a number of WATCH-nominated productions. He currently serves on the board of directors for Kensington Arts Theatre and this summer Patrick will be making is professional debut managing Keegan Theatre‘s production of Noises Off!
