I’m talking about the Lil Wayne/I Am Music tour concert I went to last Tuesday at the Verizon Center.

It was a pretty good show, Gym Class Heroes were good as well as T-Pain. While Gym Class Heroes and Lil Wayne were more like a traditional set, T-Pain had this elaborate “circus” theme and sang halves of songs with lots of set-up and stunts. T-Pain even came out during Lil Wayne’s set on a Segway. I guess the rappers are getting more and more technologically advanced.

While Corey, Adam, Meg, and I watched the show from the suite I couldn’t notice how everyone else got all dressed up- even if you were in the nosebleed section you looked pretty good as you danced along.

I celebrated New Years Eve at my place with a party for all of our friends. While some circles already had plans I was happy to see quite a few of my friends drop by. I was rocking a cool paper crown from my office’s holiday party- because I’m king of the castle. Sarah and I decked out the place with a projector to show the ball drop, beer pong played on a door in my basement (tres ghetto), and games of drunken Jenga in the living room. We bought a knock off Jenga set called “Jumbling Towers” and it quickly became the joke was we wrote down our instructions. It’s actually still not complete yet so if anyone has any ideas let me know. Also if anyone wants to hang out at my place I have enough leftover beer and liquor to last us past Inauguration, Super Bowl, and beyond.

New Years Day was a full of cleaning up the house and taking naps. My kind of day.

The weekend was supposed to be dedicated to shopping and editing- I only got so much editing done when Rebecca called me out to come out with her and the crew. I couldn’t turn down an offer like that. We went bowling over at Strike Bethesda then grabbed some drinks at Chadwicks.

I thought I was going to get some work done on Sunday but after some brunch with Carrie I just wasted some time watching The Rock and D3: The Mighty Ducks. Man FiOS and all those channels are deadly.

The rest of this week is jammed packed so at least I know I won’t be wasting time watching any TV.

I started 2008 with a lot of drinks, a whole lot of kisses, and some frustration. The second half of 2008 sped by me as I work kept me busy and stressed. The travel, the weekends on the job, the extra hours in the office all made it hard to realize that it’s already 2009. But it is and I am lucky to now have a chance to rest, relax, and reflect on what exactly just occurred.

One thing that I’m proud of in 2008 was the changes I’ve made to this blog. Patrick told me a couple of weeks ago that I’ve been blogging, “before it was called blogging.” I have had a website where I write my thoughts since high school but this was the year that I really think I got the whole thing down.

Besides bringing the technology of the site into the new millennium, I also took a look at my writing style and really tried to find a format that makes sense for me and hopefully makes my writing more interesting to read for you. I credit the changes from the increased exposure I had to other blogs. Looking back 2008 was the year I really learned what blogging was all about even though I’ve been doing it since the mid 90s.

There’s also one more change that I’m kinda happy about:

I don’t like bringing a lot of attention to it cause I don’t want to be really obnoxious about it. I also think I have a long ways to go before I’m totally hot- but I’m getting there. Weird that I actually think that I might be good looking- well at least more good looking than I usually think I am. In 2008 I lost 20 lbs and maybe if I’m lucky I won’t gain it all back. This is the only time I’m going to mention my weight publicly- I already get embarrassed enough when coworkers bring it up. However after these holidays I’m going to have to redouble my efforts.

The end of 2008 also found me in different surroundings. While I still live in Arlington, I moved out of Cleveland Street onto Highland street. While it wasn’t a big move, I am absolutely in love with the new house I love in it’s great living with Sarah and Caroline. I am really happy here and I think a my new digs will play a big role in 2009.

School

I’ve spent this past year doing some thinking about where I want to go next with school. I definitely want to go to Grad School, I want the additional experience, knowledge, and credentials that an additional degree brings. This year I started looking at different schools and programs. At first I was looking at film & video programs but I realized that while I’d love to get another degree in that area- I already have a deep background there and I wanted to learn something different. I have decided that I want to learn more about PR/Communications so I can continue to expand my role at work.

My goal this year is work on applying and getting into a program for Fall 2009, it will be an interesting year to start up school again.

Work

Last year I wanted to make an impact at work for 2008 and that certainly has happened. This year I have stepped up into a bigger role in the company. I’ve taken on more responsibilities and I have seen a huge increase in work especially towards the second half of the year. During this past summer and fall I got involved in regular trips between Washington DC and Boston where I have been involved in a lot of different projects in both locals. While the work this year resulted long work hours, days, and weeks; it was nice to find myself back home a few extra times this year.

I don’t know what 2009 will bring but this break has given me a chance to rest and reflect and I’m ready to take on the beast again for another year. This year I hope to not lose a step and continue to make the impact I’ve been making in 2008.

Friends

2008 was a great year with my friends. Work has been different without Chanelle and I certainly miss the Chanelle-ness she brought to the job. Work has also a bit more intense for everyone which has led to less lunch hours with Krissy and Mallory. However Pho lunches with Krissy, Gloria, and Kristen need to continue in 2009. However Ryan and Neal and I were able to get together for poker this year and a goal this year is to host some Poker nights at my new place. Looks like I’ll be losing lots of money this year. It’s another goal to have

Without Chanelle there’s certainly been a different dynamic in the office with Peter and Dave- my office is definitely now a gentleman’s club. Talk about sports, and female cable personalities fills our day and I love every minute of it. It’s also been great to have Peter around to help me root for our local sports teams.

As always I had some great times with my MoCo favorites (Sarah, Falkor, Doug, Katie, Emily), while they live a bit further now we managed to still get together for some nights out on the town, sporting events, and Thanksgiving football game I’ll never forget thanks to Falkor. Katie and I have shared many conversations- unfortunately most of them revolved around cougars and her boss. All of us (and Stephanie) have shared many awesome trips, including numerous rampant nights in Baltimore. 2009 will be different with Sarah and Falkor leaving for Africa- thank goodness they will be coming back for the OBX!

I had some great times with Rebecca, Adam, and company. Whether it was a July 4th bar crawl, a night out at Local 16, or even a night of Monopoly, I always have a great time with them. They have also become close confidants to a lot of life’s situations.

In 2008 LJ and I enjoyed numerous Red Sox games while pulling me into ridiculous fantasy football leagues. Adam made sure both of us were actively involved with the Obama campaign whenever possible.

I’m always able to laugh when I’m with Wendi and I’m happy we’ve been able to catch each other when we do. I have to admit I haven’t gotten to spend a whole lot of time with Ian but hopefully we’ll be able to catch up soon.

Back home in Massachusetts I’ve had plenty of chances to keep up with Dave, and Bill thanks to my business trips. 2008 also saw me reconnecting with Jimmy Clancy and his new wife. I continue to keep in touch with Patrick even though he’s always in a different state every time we catch up. 2008 was also the year Sean moved back to Massachusetts form Florida, and now the crew was complete this year. Good times were had with Sean, Mike, and Joe- including my first game at Fenway Park and a crazy night on Emily’s birthday.

I now expect two things to happen every year during the holidays: an annual reunion of Me, Phil, and Tessa; and an annual gossip lunch with OC.

I also got to reconnect with a whole group of DMB friends this year, Alyssa, Kristen, and Michele. Now that Alyssa and Michele live in Boston, they are two more names I’ll have to add to the “must see” list when I go back home.

Friends like Carolyn and Laura moving away while others like Michael Anthony Gregorio move in. DC is a transient region so I treasure all the moments I get to spend with all of my friends.

Family

I started getting weird e-mails this fall. They were from various colleges and universities trying to get my to apply to their schools for an undergraduate degree. When I saw that the e-mails were addressed to Daniel, I realized someone has mistaken my e-mail for his and I got spammed. It’s weird to think that my little brother is almost ready to go to college.

While that’s going my sister Kim is making waves at FSC, finishing a summer in Europe and getting ready for Junior year. Man I’m starting to feel old. Meanwhile Diana is continuing to impress me with all the great books that are being pumped out at her publishing house. Her and Mike also got engaged in 2008.

2009 has lots to look forward to with my family, my favorite cousin Christina is turning 21 and will continue to rip up UMass and this month I get to catch up with my favorite Aunt.

Love

I went out with Rebecca this past weekend and she told me that she never knew a time that I wasn’t seeing someone. That is such a weird statement. But then again my game has never been as good as it’s been. 2008 was by far the busiest year when it comes to women, and I’m glad to say that I was able to keep crazy FSC bitches out of them… well for the most part…it’s funny how some women just never go away. It’s also funny how things can pick up just where they left off after some time.

I also randomly hooked up with some girl from New Jersey. Always awesome to do the walk of shame from L’enfant Plaza.

This summer I dated a number of interesting women. Two were summer flings, the kind that come into town and before you know it they are gone just as fast as they came. One was a Senior over at Harvard- could she be the smartest person I’ve ever dated? She’s probably not as smart as the Carnegie Mellon grad that’s now working as a programming at Microsoft. She was a student of Randy Pausch, a great man who I (and many others) learned about this year and was sad to see him pass on. Miss Seattle also led me to another girl whom I dated a couple of times but wasn’t anything special, she did laugh at all my jokes however.

I briefly dated one of Sarah’s co-workers and while she was really fun and has introduced me to everything Eastern Market has to offer, I could see she was never going to be available the way I wanted it to be.

Nobody is going to let me live down Sean’s wedding. It’s going to be a memory for me right up there with Minneapolis. At least I still talk to both girls.

Also let’s never forget about that teacher from Walpole. I’ve never felt so honored in my life. Maybe I should just spent the rest of my days as Cougar bait.

The day before Halloween I met Carrie and so far she wins the record for girl I’ve dated the most. Then again it’s a pretty easy record to set. She’s been very good to me these past few months.

As always I have no love goals for 2009- I will continue to play everything out just like I always do.

Travel & Special Events

2008 has to be the year of the weddings. I went to a lot of them.

The first one was Jimmy Clancy’s and it was a trip down high school memory lane. The ceremony was at St. Mary’s where I spent my days as a Boy Scout and ended at Andover Country Club where we had our senior banquet.

After that it was Rebecca and Adam’s wedding and I have to say that it was by far one of the craziest weddings I’ve been to. Anytime I get a knock on the door the next day from a half dressed Paul Depoian means that it was a good time.

Melanie and Jim’s wedding was the most artsy, they had a really interesting arrangement at the altar. While I was only 1 of 2 FSC representatives there I still managed to have a good time with all of their friends.

I lucked into Sean and Amanda’s wedding and I definitely made the most of it. That’s all I gotta say.

2009 will bring probably only 1 wedding but I’m going to need a break after this past year of weddings.

2008 saw another great trip to the OBX- right now I’m working on the videos for them and hopefully get them out before our next trip in May. It was great having a record 30 people come down. What probably made 2008 was the Jenga and the flag stealing. While 2009 will see a crowd not that high, it will still be great times.

Once again I also made a trip out to Hershey, PA to Hershey Park. This time we also got to celebrate Falkor’s birthday in a local bar across the street from the hotel. I’ve never seen a bar tab that high til that night.

I also made 2 Obama related road trips this year: one to Philadelphia and another to Roanoke. I’m really happy with the work and travel I put into the campaign and I hope that in the future I will continue to become active election campaigns.

There were some DMB trips made this year, the first one was to SPAC where I got visit Diana along the way. The other was at Nissan Pavilion where I went to LeRoi Moore’s last show.

I finally found some time to take the trip into Pittsburgh, I visited Melanie and Jim and experienced a little bit of what the Steel City has to offer. I was surprised at the how short the trip was and it’s definitely not out of the question for a repeat trip in 2009.

I certainly traveled a whole lot in 2008. I hope to do some more in 2009. Is this the year for the Cruise? Is this the year for Canada? Maybe it’s finally time for me to visit the West Coast- who knows where I’m traveling in 2009, but I will probably figure it out for this summer.

Hobbies

Last year I wrote about finding a new hobby besides fantasy sports. Well I have to say that I’ve taken blogging into a new level that it’s become a serious pastime of mine. In 2008 I became a contributor to DC Metblogs and it has kept me busy. This winter I was also given the opportunity to get back into a long lost passion- theatre. In early 2009 I will be working on a production with the Arlington Players and I hope that 2009 will see more headway into a possible comeback into theatre.

Are there other crazy activities I might get into? I’d want to make a goal but I can see that 2009 maybe busy enough.

In Conclusion

2008 was a crazy busy year for me on many fronts. While I have been busy with many things I’ve seen myself change in many ways. All along the way I’ve still been rely on the support and encouragement of all my friends and family.

I hope 2009 will be a year that helps define my future here in Washington DC. I hope that this year I figure out my school situation and that I continue to explore new and old passions and hobbies.

I also hope to that I can look to a summer of fun travels, starting with the OBX and ending with who knows what.

But the biggest resolution I want to make is to have a good time and to make others happy- because isn’t that all we want in life?

Reconnecting with friends.

Thanks to an unusually high number of trips back home this year (mostly due to business) I have realized two things:

When I come home I intend on seeing all my friends back home

I never have time to see all of my friends back home

As much as I try and plan ahead of time, there’s just not enough time in the world for me to see everyone I’d like to see. There are a few friends that I’m extremely close to that I will prioritize but sometimes I’m not even able to see them if the schedules don’t match up. So it goes without saying there will be some friends that will think I’m a deadbeat but the truth of the matter is I try to see as many people as I can. For instance I realized while scheduling time for friends over Christmas that friends I saw over Thanksgiving were not going to make my calendar.

Am I too popular or am I too ambitious with my time home? I’m too much of a geek to be popular so I’ll say I’m over ambitious.

I had lunch last Monday with Patrick at Fishbones, a local seafood place I’ve been tying to try. The broiled selections were pretty good- I have to go back and get the fried platter. Of course at the time I was trying to eat somewhat well- the holidays are bound to kill me with all the terrible eating I’ve been up to. It was great to catch up with Patrick- every time I see him I hear about the latest chapter of his life journey.

Tuesday I shared another meal with an old high school friend, this time it was breakfast with Jimmy. I haven’t really seen him probably since our high school reunion last year. It was good to hear that he was finishing up Paramedic classes and preparing for his next step. Later that night I had the annual dinner with Tessa, Phil, and Jen. We went out to Not Your Average Joes where we all ordered burgers- however mine was extra messy. I also have to say the bread there was really good. After our usual catch up on various issues from dating to jobs we somehow ended up watching Tessa’s birthday video, a DVD that we somehow watch every time we get together.

It appears that I’ve decided to center all my encounters with friends through food. On Christmas Eve I had lunch with OC and we had our regular gossip session and catch-up. Colleen is one of the few friends I never see very often but always enjoy hearing from when I do- we always have stories to exchange and people to talk about. I spent the rest of my Christmas Eve putting up the tree with my siblings.

Christmas itself came and went rather uneventfully. I slept in, took family photos, and opened gifts. For some reason I felt like I had a really bland gift list this year. A lot of the things I wanted were appliances for my new home and replacements for items I’ve lost in the past year. While I got a lot of the things I asked for- not all the items were exactly what I wanted so I still have a lot of exchanging to do. After a family dinner at Life Care Center (where my grandmother is living) the siblings and I went out to see a movie. We settled on Valkyrie- an interesting film to watch on the day Christ was born.

The day after Christmas I had a big night out with Nicole- we met up with some of her friends over at Hennessy’s where we enjoyed a happy hour with Jeff Fraser’s cover duo- Me and Julio. Apparently Nicole and her friends are regulars and got tables right in the front, and received lots of love from the entertainment. I even somehow got pulled in as well and Jeff called me a “ladies man” for being surrounded by so many girls. Of course my new title for the night become a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I received a tap on my shoulder and I was confronted with a very good looking teacher who insisted I had to dance with her. Well I couldn’t of said no.

After the happy hour we followed Jeff to his next gig- with a band called Spike The Punch over at the Green Dragon Tavern. What was weird was that a lot of the people I saw at the happy hour also followed… along with the teachers from Walpole.

A long night out and I found myself once again sleep deprived enough for the ride back to DC; however this time I had a buddy. On my way back I stopped in Worcester to pick up Corey who is spending the week sightseeing in DC. Ten hours later we arrived back home but we weren’t resting anytime soon. It was Saturday night and I wanted to show Corey what DC was all about- so I took her to Adams Morgan.

Now I hoped to show her the typical Adams Morgan chaos but I was surprised to see that the neighborhood was amazingly empty. I took her to The Reef which was almost dead compared to the lines that usually build up on a Saturday night. I ran into Texas Pete and he told me he just came from Chinatown where the scene was similar. It looks like all of DC was gone for the holidays. Well with the traffic quieter than usual I took advantage and breezed in and out several places in DC including Ventnor’s and the ever shady Dan’s Cafe. It’s weird that even though I only visit Ventnor’s once every few months- they always know who I am- the guy with the awesome last name. The Vietnamese bartender I knew is gone now but I guess my legacy continues.

Sunday Corey and I went to the Maple Leafs/Capitals game and today we did visited Zoo Lights with Carrie.

Now that we are all caught up I’m going to hit the bed- lots to do before New Years, stay tuned for the Year In Review!

The NFL season is 17 weeks long.

With each team having a bye week that means each team plays 16 games, however that last week is nothing like the other 16.

Football is a grueling sport and at the end of the day teams that won’t be going to the playoffs have little to play for. Teams that already have locked their place into the playoffs have little to play for- they don’t want to risk injuries to their stars before the playoffs. Take the case of Pittsburgh, who saw their star quarterback suffer a concussion in a meaningless Week 17 game- now they might have to enter the post-season with backup Byron Leftwich under center, not a comforting thought.

So this means that the players you have counted on all season to take you to the promise land may not be playing in the last game of the season or worse, they may play for a little bit then take the rest of the day off- like Peyton Manning always does. I will say however, it was really funny to watch Peyton on the sidelines with a headset, yelling at his backup Jim Sorgi. Imagine what it’s like to backup one of the greatest quarterbacks of all-time. At least he knows that he’ll get to play in at least one game every year- the last one.

The point is you don’t know who’s going to play and who’s not going to play- so trying to pick players for Week 17 is really tricky and unlike anything you’ve had to do any other time in the Fantasy Football season. Dave Richard over at CBS Sports and Matthew Berry over at ESPN know it. Most leagues only have their season run til Week 16 to avoid the chaos. 2 of my 3 leagues were done after Week 16, with only my Yahoo! league going til Week 17. As great as it was to play in the championship game, I couldn’t believe I was trying to pickup terrible Torry Holt because I thought he might actually play compared to my other stars.

All in all it’s the end to a very successful fantasy season for me, let’s see how I did:

TMG Sportsline League (13-3)

We don’t play for money but to me it’s all about the bragging rights. Maybe next year we should put some money on the line. But til next season, I can now walk around the office as the fantasy football champion. Last week I questioned my choice to start Tyler Thigpen over Tony Romo in the championship game- and the decision paid off. Once again I had great running back depth but struggled to pick the winners as I must of left a lot points on my bench. Larry Johnson is terrible and I’ll never draft him again. I’ve also learned that whoever I draft in the first round in this league will also be a bust. Thank goodness I banked on Tony Romo once again to throw my team to victory. I also made sure to take a chance rookies like Matt Forte and it’s always nice to have one of the two receivers in Arizona, last year I had Larry Fitzgerald and this year I had Anquan Boldin. I already can’t wait to start analyzing players for next year.

Yahoo! League (9-4-1)

While I was the loser in the Week 17 championship, I’m still happy to do well in what a league that was very competitive compared to last year. While my friend Sean is the comissioner in this league, I am pretty much the head recruiter. I am thrilled that Falkor and Wendi had fun playing in the league and I already have a few more people to try and get into the league for next year. I’m hoping to fill out the league with competitive managers and maybe next year we can even hold a live draft.

Diet Yahoo! League (9-5)

I ended the season as the top seed but finished 4th thanks to a disappointing playoff run, but like I said before, things are so ridiculous in a six team league that it only makes sense. This was the first team that was a clever pun on my name, and I think I’ll have to start thinking of cool names like that for future leagues. I particularity enjoyed how I actually drafted Donte Stallworth with my last pick only to drop him an hour after the draft. If this league decides to play again next year I think I’ll have to help them recruit some more players.

Well that’s it for fantasy football in 2008, I already printed out the rosts, draft results, and stats from these leagues for my archives. They might come in handy if I have to look back to see how certain leagues play out and how certain managers draft players. Til next year it’s time to sit back and enjoy the playoffs but it’s only a couple of months til April and Baseball season!

That’s how far I live from the family home back in Massachusetts

According to Google Maps it’s about 8 hours.

However in yesterday I spent almost 10 hours on the road. I used to be able to bang out these road trips home like it was the Bull Run (when I visited the site to insert that link I discovered that the footage I shot while doing Bull Run back in 2007 was used in the official videos of the event) but the week leading up to the trip back home was a blur. And as always, I never get enough sleep the night before- I was too busy trying to clean my room while doing laundry and finishing videos.

As always I’m trying to edit some videos before Christmas. I didn’t get it totally finished with my latest project but I hope to wrap it up after the holidays.

Tuesday was my birthday and I didn’t do a whole lot. I did go to a holiday party thrown by Strauss Radio over at Hudson. As always, they know how to throw a lavish affair. I had a nightcap over at Science Club with Clarence from work.

Thursday I hung out with Carrie and she helped me with an annual holiday tradition- getting my gifts wrapped by women who know how to do it. I’m not really good at wrapping gifts. I mean I know how to do it I am just not as good in tying those loose ends and making them look neat. Sounds like a possible analogy for my life. Looking back, a lot of my gifts were actually able to fit an envelope- so I didn’t have to wrap a lot of gifts.

I am really proud of these gifts I made for my co-workers: I filled little gift boxes full of miniature bottles of alcohol and liquor-filled chocolates. I may not be able to bake like my friend Mallory but I do enjoy showing my appreciation for fellow friends and co-workers.
So now I am back in town. The reason I rushed back on Saturday was to catch Emily’s birthday bash over at The Harp. It was funny that I ran into Jeff Frost- of future OBX Season 2 fame. The cover band there was really good and everyone got nice and drunk. I didn’t however, I was the driver. So after a day of driving- I drive some more into Boston and then at 3 AM I am driving some more- except this time I got to drive in the blizzard that has snowbound everyone this weekend. I am not looking forward to digging myself out but it’s experiences like these that remind me of where I came from. Down in DC it never snows.

Since there was a couple of feet of snow on the ground I kept it chill Sunday and watched the Patriots game at home with Dave. It was so satisfying to see us take care of the Cardinals in the snow.

I’m not planning a whole lot for this week- I want to focus on relaxing and seeing old friends since I’m only here for a week, then it’s back to DC for a week of entertaining then New Years.

It’s championship time.

I am now deep into the playoffs in all my leagues- and today I will be playing the Championship game of my TMG Sportsline league.

When playoffs come around players often have a decision to make: do you start the players you’ve been using all season or do you consider picking up someone off the waiver wire that might help you out more?

Usually you play to win but now you have reached the final game people are often nervous about using players off the wire that may be better choices than the players on your team.

I had to make a number of choices like those as we enter Week 16:

TMG Sportsline League (12-3)

Pho Sho. vs Caroline’s Crew

Coming into last night I had a tough choice: Tony Romo or Tyler Thigpen? At the beginning of the season it was a choice nobody would ever thought would come up but Thigpen has managed to look good enough to warrant this question. Romo was set to go up against a tough Ravens defense and Thigpen, whom I recently picked up to backup Romo, would be home against a Dolphins team that is not good or bad, but would be a better matchup. Romo is a stud, and as I wrote before and you have to start your studs. However he’s shown that he’s not good against tough defenses and Baltimore’s D is itself a stud.

The choice was made for me as I drove back home from DC. I didn’t make it to a computer and the Saturday Night Ravens/Cowboys game started with me leaving Romo on the bench. As I saw that in the first quarter he only had a handful of yards and an interception I was beginning to feel like I made the right choice. At the end of the night he’d end up with about 252 yards and 2 TDs thanks to some last minute drives. Will those 18 points come back to haunt me as I play Caroline in the league championship? Will Tyler Thigpen perform and make me look like a fantasy genius? We will see today.

Yahoo! League (9-4-1)

Pho Shizzle vs. Falkor’s Misfits

Different league, same quarterback question- I also own Romo and Thigpen in this league. However I left Romo active in this league and I benefited from his performance. No many other questions here, I started the season rather thin at running back but thanks to picking up Ryan Grant and Pierre Thomas I have some great flex options for this week. This week I’m playing Falkor and whoever wins goes to the Championship game.

Diet Yahoo! League (9-5)

Donte’s $37 Million vs. ChrisIsaTrannyName

Last week I wrote about how fitting it would be if Brian Westbrook scored no points when I finally start him after he scores billions of points on my bench. Well that’s exactly what happened. I lost the first game of my playoffs by 4 points thanks to a single point game from him and I now battle this week for 3rd place. It only makes sense. Well this week I make another tough decision with my studs. As I write this I am about to bench my start quarterback Kurt Warner. Outside my window here in Massachusetts it is snowing and has been all weekend. With snow and rain fore casted for the game in Foxboro, it doesn’t look like Warner will be throwing much or effectively. Plus I really don’t want to root against the Patriots by any means. Now watch him throw 3 TDs. Also guess who I have as my #2 quarterback- you guessed it, Tyler Thigpen.

Who knew that I would be counting on a guy name Tyler Thigpen to win my playoff games?
